TVA moves to buy 80MW of large-scale solar from NextEra

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), the largest government-owned supplier of electricity in the US, will take the full output from an 80MW PV plant NextEra plans to build in Alabama, saying it is competitive with any other energy options on the table.
