he Ohio AFL-CIO held its 29th Biennial Convention at the Duke Energy in Cincinnati Sept. 16-17. At the convention, Ohio AFL-CIO President Tim Burga and Secretary-Treasurer Petee Talley were re-elected to another four-year term. (read the press release here).
Also at the convention, 24 Resolutions were passed which will dictate the course of action for the State Federation the next two years. The overall theme, Building the Movement for Income Equality, was prevalent throughout the convention and Resolutions. Click here to see the Resolutions passed by the Delegates.
